Lions Under Investigation

Southeastern Louisiana’s basketball team violated NCAA rules while the school was on probation for earlier violations.

Athletic director Tom Douple confirmed the school received the NCAA’s letter of inquiry on May 10. The alleged infractions reportedly involve excessive benefits to Lions players.

Douple said the NCAA categorized the allegations as “secondary,” and the school has begun an internal investigation.
