In the latest effort by a big soft drink company to have a drink for every taste, Pepsi-Cola Co. will begin testing a line of low-fat milk shakes in Texas and Oklahoma.

Pepsi is calling its first product in the $19 billion dairy beverage category Smooth Moos Smoothies.

Pepsi is producing the drinks through an alliance with the nation’s biggest dairy cooperative, Mid-America Dairymen Inc., based in Springfield, Mo.

The dairy drink will be available in 9.5 ounce glass bottles in four flavors - double chocolate, French vanilla, strawberry and banana. They will have two grams of fat per bottle and are made with skim milk.
