Art And Ruby Harper Honored As Foster Parents

Art and Ruby Harper and Dru Powers were recently honored for their contributions as foster parents by the Division of Children and Family Services of the State Department of Social and Health Services.

The Harpers have been foster parents for more than 25 years. Powers is a treatment foster parent for Excelsior.

Gov. Mike Lowry presented them with plaques during ceremonies in the governor’s executive mansion.

Stephanie Sant, Pullman, has been inducted into Pi Kappa Lambda, the honor society of music at the University of Idaho. The honor is in recognition of outstanding musicianship and scholarly achievement.
