Say what you will about Washington Gov. Mike Lowry - and goodness knows many people say most anything - he’s kept his sense of humor. Addressing the Washington State Economic Forum last week, the governor poked fun at his non-ticketed runins with state troopers. … Lowry was bemoaning the lack of decent roads between the state’s agricultural areas and the Puget Sound region. Didn’t have the exact mileage or a good estimate on how long some of those trips take, he said. But it was too long. “I’m sort of an expert on the state patrol and speeding, so I think I know what I’m talking about,” he told business leaders.
