Lloyd Daniels, who overcame drug problems to play two seasons with the San Antonio Spurs, signed a 10-day contract today with the Los Angeles Lakers. He will be a replacement for injured rookie Eddie Jones.

Daniels, 27, was waived by Philadelphia on Nov. 12. xxxx
