HB280 (State Affairs) Creates state Bingo Commission to oversee and regulate the operation of bingo games by non-profit organizations.

HB281 (State Affairs) Establishes conditions for using underage persons to conduct tobacco “sting” operations on premises of retailers.

HB282 (State Affairs) Allows a county or city to create a separate legal entity to operate hospitals to qualify as a “sole provider” for federal Medicare reimbursement purposes.

HB283 (Health and Welfare) Changes child-staff ratios for day care.

HB284 (Ways and Means) Provides for the creation of water measurement districts to measure diversions of water.

HB285 (State Affairs) Assures that no child in custody, nor any parent of such child, will be denied communication between them or knowledge of their whereabouts while in custody.

HB286 (State Affairs) Grants any city which owns and operates a hospital the same powers that counties have to convey or lease a hospital to a non-profit corporation.

HB287 (Appropriations) Supplemental appropriation of $55,000 to Department of Administration for Information Technology Program.
