Compiled From Wire Services

Two F-16 jets collided while landing at Luke Air Force Base on Friday, injuring three pilots.

First Lt. Charles Durfree ejected and his fighter crashed, base spokesman Bill McKenzie said. Capt. Barry Deckner and Capt. Ben Culp, in the other plane, landed safely.

All three were in good condition at the base hospital.

Base officials could not immediately determine how the 3:35 p.m. accident occurred.
