Lake City, Bonners In Title Games

The Lake City and Bonners Ferry girls continued their separate quests for state championships with wins on Friday night.

Katie Hatrock scored a career-high 15 points on 5-of-5 shooting from 3-point range to lead the Timberwolves past Blackfoot 56-33 in Caldwell, Idaho.

Lake City (23-1) will take on Pocatello in the A-1 championship at 7 p.m. PST at Albertson College.

At Meridian, Idaho, Bonners Ferry (18-7 overall) moved into the A-2 championship game by defeating Sugar-Salem 59-54.

Bonners Ferry will meet the Shelley Russets (22-0) in the title match at 4:50 PST.

In A-4 action, Heidi Sant scored 20 points to lead North Gem past Lakeside of Plummer-Worley, 45-42, in a consolation game.
