Cc Spokane Men Rally, But Can’t Hang On In Loss

The Community Colleges of Spokane lost to Capilano College 77-70 in a non-conference men’s basketball game Friday night.

Spokane trailed 44-39 at halftime before rallying to tie the game at 68-68. But Capilano answered with a 3-pointer with 1:05 left to put the game away.

Led by Jed Palmer’s 19 points, CCS had four players in double figures. Mike Ferrante added 14 points and Mark Hegbloom and Bobby Raiford 12 apiece.
