Vandal Faces Court Date
Idaho men’s basketball player Bjorn Magnussen faces a Jan. 3 court appearance in Moscow for allegedly violating conditions of his probation.
Magnussen, 19, was sentenced in June to pay $626.50 in fines after being charged in February with stealing a cassette player from a Moscow apartment rented by two women. At the time, Magnussen was a redshirt freshman.
Since his sentencing, case records indicate Magnussen has twice tested positive for use of marijuana, most recently on Nov. 27, and he dropped out of a substance-abuse program without permission of his probation officer.
Magnussen, a reserve center, was suspended indefinitely prior to last Friday’s game against Rocky Mountain College.
