Men Threaten Teens, Take Coat, Cap

From Staff And Wire Reports

Two men armed with handguns threatened to shoot two teenagers walking in south Spokane Saturday evening if they did not give them a coat and a baseball hat.

The boys walked by a car parked in the 400 block of East Eighth about 5:30 p.m. They told police two men got out and pointed handguns at them.

The thieves demanded a Raiders coat and hat. When the teens turned them over, the thieves told them to run off or they would shoot them, police said.

The teens obeyed and no one was injured.
