Autopsy Results Available Tuesday

Results of the autopsy performed on a woman killed in Spokane last week will not be released until Tuesday, police said Saturday.

Steven’s County sheriff’s deputies found the woman’s body in the back of a man’s pickup early Friday. Danial C. Peters, 22, has been charged with killing the woman. Police said the murder happened at Peters’ north Spokane home.

Medical examiners have determined the victim’s identity, but have yet to release it because not all of her family members have been notified, said police spokesman Dick Cottam.
