Comment Sought On Phone Plans
The Idaho Public Utilities Commission wants public comment on four different local telephone calling plans offered by GTE in North Idaho.
Customers have until Jan. 14 to send written comments to the commission. Customers have had a choice of calling plans for two years, but GTE wants to make some changes.
There are four calling plans to choose from. Some plans charge a high flat fee but give free calls within the 23-mile radius. Other plans charge a low flat fee but charge calls within the distance limit by the minute.
The commission encourages residents to study the plans by getting a copy of the regulations from GTE. For more information, call GTE at (800) 483-4100 for residential service and (800) 483-5100 for business service.
