Turns Out Jackson Case Is Far From Being Closed
Michael Jackson proclaims his innocence any chance he gets. He’s done it in song, on video and during a nationally televised interview with his wife, Lisa Marie Presley, and Diane Sawyer.
But the Los Angeles-area prosecutor who investigated the charges of sexual abuse that were brought against the musical star has a different take on the story.
Santa Barbara district attorney Tom Sneddon calls Jackson’s claims that he has been exonerated “untrue and incorrect and not consistent with the evidence in the case.”
Other sources told the magazine that the boy who accused Jackson was able to identify markings on the singer’s penis. On Monday, a spokeswoman for Sawyer said the news broadcaster “misspoke” when she said during the televised interview that Jackson had “been cleared of all charges.”
