Sofia Hessler joined The Spokesman-Review in June of 2024 as a summer high school intern as part of the Teen Journalism Institute. This program is funded with a grant from Bank of America. She is a senior at Bryant TEC (The Enrichment Cooperative) School and a Running Start student at Spokane Falls Community College..
