Eagles on Lake Coeur d'Alene

The bald eagles that show up annually at Lake Coeur d'Alene provide a popular wildlife-viewing attraction as the birds are lured to the northeast corner of the lake from mid-November into January to feast on the spawning kokanee that stack up in the bay. Upload your photos here and we'll display them online while the eagles are here.

I have always wanted to capture these beautiful creatures in flight and most of the shots I got that day the Eagles were still then suddenly I looked up and in my view finder I saw one flying over head. I was so happy that I got the picture I wanted so please enjoy my photo.
