A Downy Woodpecker was sitting very still at my bird feeder for quite some time. I went out to check on it to make sure it wasn't frozen to it. It allowed me to get close enough for this photo before moving to the opposite side so I left it alone. This photo was taken near Downriver Golf Course in Spokane.
