On Roctober 21st, a friend in the Spokane Mountaineers, and I went to The Wigwams in the American Selkirks.
This image was taken east of The Wig along the massive cliffs.
In this image you can see Harrison Peak on the left all the way to Gunsight Peak on the southern end of the Selkirk Crest.

Good afternoon!
This picture of an "Osprey with her Catch" was taken on July 3rd at Loon Lake in Stevens County. We were tooling around on our pontoon boat and just happened to catch her coming out of the water with her catch. Beautiful!

It is elderberry season much to the delight of the Yellow-rumped Warbler. This very active, pretty little bird is also known in the West as Audubon's Warbler. A name she may just prefer :). From my kayak on Hauser Lake.

I believe this to be a young Coopers Hawk that allowed me to get pretty close for this photo the hawk had it's prey but I could not tell what it had a raptor will sometimes let you get close when it has it's prey.
