Timothy Egan: A Fever in the Heartland

Pulitzer Prize winning reporter, National Book Award Winner and Bestselling Author Timothy Egan returns to Spokane with his new book,A Fever in the Heartland: The Ku Klux Klan's Plot to Take Over America, and the Woman Who Stopped Them.

Auntie's Bookstore will have a table in the lobby for sales of Mr. Egan's books. Book signing by the author following the presentation.

Waiting list will start with GU's ticketing system on Wednesday April 5th at 5:30pm.

  • Must be in-person to get on the waiting list. First come, first served. (Limit 2 or 4 tickets per name.)
  • As tickets are returned, they will be offered to each party on the waiting list, in order.
  • Waiting-list contact must be present in person or answer the single phone call between 5:30 and 7:05pm to receive tickets as they become available.
  • If there is no response, tickets will move on to the next person on the waiting list until gone.

VIP Tickets include:

  • Reserved seat in one of the front rows. (Seats will be saved until start of presentation - NO guarantee of front-row seating for late VIP ticket-holders)
  • Autographed copy of the book
  • Access to exclusive, pre-show reception starting 5:30pm in balcony-level lobby: includes a drink ticket for a beverage of choice and an opportunity to meet and talk to the author

General Admission Tickets:

  • Available on a first-come, first-served basis to choose seats in any non-VIP section
  • Late seating may not be permitted once the presentation begins - at the discretion of MWPAC staff
