Nathan Hopkins hit the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer, and Davenport edged Wilbur-Creston 54-51 Monday in the District 7 2B tournament at West Valley. Hopkins led all scorers with 20 points, with his final shot from the right wing making the difference. The Gorillas advance to play Lind-Ritzville/Sprague on Wednesday. Jacob Clark and Devin Magers led the Wildcats with 12 points each.

The Liberty boys converted 22 points off of 18 turnovers to easily defeat Wilber-Creston in the opening round of the Northeast 2B District tournament. Liberty outrebounded Wilber 47-21 as Junior, Chase Burnham led the way with 19 points and 11 boards. Jacob Clark and Tucker Odegaard both led Wilber with 9 point each.
