With Makinzie Packwood's goal in the 33rd minute, Clarkston was able to edge by West Valley on their way to the district championship game on Tuesday against East Valley. West Valley was eliminated from tournament play with the loss.

West Valley cruised past Cheney, 9-1 in the District 7 2A tournament, with goals from six different players. Franki Schade had three of those goals, and Jenna Sullens added two more. Both players tacked on an assist as well. The Eagles, who outshout Cheney 24-7, will host Clarkston Saturday at noon. With the loss, Cheney has been eliminated.
