Domonique Martinez hit a two-run double in the bottom of the seventh and Othello eliminated the Eagles (13-7) 7-6 in a 2A crossover on Saturday. Elle Hildahl was 2 for 3 with three RBIs and helped West Valley take a 6-4 lead in the top of the seventh inning before Othello mounted the comeback.

Maddie Kallsen went 5 for 5 with a home run and drove in five runs as visiting Cheney (16-5) beat West Valley (13-6) in the Great Northern League title game on Wednesday. Kallsen and Meghan Krantz hit back-to-back homers during a five-run fourth inning for the Blackhawks, who will host the CWAC No. 4 seed on Saturday with a berth to state on the line.
