Top-rated East Valley girls pull away late to top West Valley, secure state tournament berth

East Valley, rated No. 1 in the WIAA’s RPI, used a steady dose of defense and rebounding with offensive balanced sprinkled on for good measure as the Knights were too much for West Valley late, 64-46, in the District 7 2A championship game.
