Gavin Long tossed in a game-high 26 points and led all rebounders with seven to power the Wenatchee Panthers to a 66-36 nonleague victory over the Lake City Timberwolves in Coeur d'Alene on Wednesday. The Panthers jumped out to a 27-13 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. Duncan Butler led Lake City with nine points. Tony Esquivel hit three 3-pointers and finished with 16 points for Wenatchee.
