What happened: Teryn Gardner scored 20 points, Addison Wells-Morrison added 13 and the Panthers (22-1) beat the visiting Blue Devils (13-9) in a District 8 3A semifinal game on Tuesday. Mead advances to host the championship game against Kennewick, in which both teams will advance to state. Walla Walla will play University in a loser-out game on Thursday at Walla Walla High School.
