GSL slowpitch: University rolls past Mead for title

Sophomore Gracee Dwyer’s offensive contribution sparked University to its eighth Greater Spokane League District slowpitch softball championship on a sunny Tuesday afternoon on its home field with a 13-3, five-inning victory over Mead.

Lexi Ivankovich was 3 for 3 with three RBIs and University rolled to a 13-3 victory over Shadle Park in a Greater Spokane League district semifinal game on Monday. U-Hi will host Mead for the district championship Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Gracee Dwyer and Brianna Hecker went 2 for 3 for the Titans. Bree Barnes was 3 for 3 with a triple to lead Shadle Park.
