Colfax will enter the 1B state tournament as District 7/9's No. 1 with its swept over Tri-Cities Prep in the regional championship Saturday afternoon. Tri-Cities Prep enters state as the No. 2 seed from the region. Carmen Gfeller and Olivia Mellor finished with 11 kills each to lead the Bulldogs, and Ashtyn Aune tacked on 14 assists to contribute to the victory.

Katie Casazza led Tri-Cities Prep with 17 kills and 26 digs in their three-set victory over Lind-Ritzville/Sprague, 25-11, 25-10, 25-22. Danika Whitsett led Tri-Cities Prep with 24 assists, while teammate Mary Seiner accumulated 31 digs.
