Kenedee Loomis scored the go-ahead run on Dani Hayes' bunt and Hayes picked up the win on the mound as Almira/Coulee-Hartline held on for a 3-2 victory over Touchet in their 1B Regional matchup. Cierra Jo McKeown held the Warriors to only one hit and threw 15 strikeouts in six innings. With the win, the Warriors will play Liberty Christian next Saturday in the semifinals of the 1B regional.

Kayleona Fanning had three hits -- a home run short of the cycle -- and Curlew (17-6) beat Touchet 12-6 in a Bi-District 7/9 1B tournament game in Medical Lake. Fanning also earned the win after pitching all seven innings for the Cougars. Curlew will play next Saturday in Medical Lake in a winner-to-state, loser-out game.
