Cierra Jo McKeown again came up big for Touchet in a 62-48 win over Pomeroy at Clarkston in the District 9 1B Tournament. A night after nearly lifting the Indians to an upset of unbeaten Colton, McKeown netted 38 points, as Touchet advanced to the regional round of state. McKeown connected on 17-of-18 free throws, with 14 of those makes coming in the final quarter. Touchet's next matchup will come next weekend, with the opponent and date to be determined. Zoe Moser scored 13 of her team-high 26 points in the fourth quarter and Colton withstood Touchet's late rally and beat the Indians in the District 9 1B title game in Clarkston. The win gave the Wildcats the top seed to the regional round of the state tournament. Touchet will play Pomeroy Saturday in Clarkston for the second and final seed.
