Keelie Lawler led Timberlake with 11 points in their 62-35 playoff victory over Marsh Valley to win the 3A Idaho State Tournament. Allison Kirby brought in nine points for Timberlake, while Anna Gardom scored five points and seven rebounds. Katie Anderson led Marsh Valley with nine points in their loss. This is the fifth time in six years that Timberlake has been to the 3A state championship match, but this is the first time they have won the match.

Timberlake outlasted Teton 75-62 at Middleton High School on Friday night, advancing to the 3A Idaho State girls basketball championships. The Tigers outscored Teton 29-15 in the third quarter to gain a resounding lead. Timberlake won despite being outshot by Teton, who shot 70 percent from the field to the Tigers 55.3.
