What happened: Riglee Peterson struck out 14 in a complete-game one-hitter and the Dragons (21-1) beat the Lumberjacks (16-4) in an Idaho 2A state semifinal at Orofino HS on Saturday. Taci Watkins struck out 11 in six innings for St. Maries, which faces West Jefferson in a battle of one-loss teams to reach the state title game.

What happened: Jordyn Torgerson struck out 11 in a seven-inning complete game and went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and the Panthers (21-4) beat the Lumberjacks (17-5) to advance to the state title game at Orofino HS. Abbey Stewart scored twice and had an RBI for St. Maries, which finished the tournament in third place.
