Oakesdale survived a missed three in the waning seconds to defeat St. John-Endicott 60-58 Monday in the District 9 1B tournament at Walla Walla. Jacey Johnson led the Nighthawks with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Logan Reed added 12 points, and Lindsey Lindgren tallied 11 points, five rebounds and five assists. Abby Glorfield netted 26 points to lead the Eagles, but her potential game-winning shot was deflected and came up short. Oakesdale will now play Pomeroy on Friday, while SJE is out.

Touchet 67, St. John-Endicott 41

Ciera McKeown finished with a game-high 26 points leading Touchet past St. John-Endicott 67-41 on Friday night. Amid a blazing start to the game, Touchet took a 42-17 halftime lead. Danaka Jaggar added 14 for Touchet and Gracie Dickerson had 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Jadyn Corder had 14 and 9 for St. John-Endicott.
