Jake Sieler scored 14 points and had three steals, and Kiefer Gibson had 11 points, seven rebounds and three assists as St. Maries narrowly defeated Soda Springs 45-42 to advance in the Idaho 2A state tournament. Josh Balls had 13 points for Soda Springs.
