Keannu Royster finished with 12 points to pace Kennedy Catholic as it took down Shadle Park 40-32 in the 3A state regional on Saturday. Up two going into the fourth quarter, Kennedy Catholic outscored Shadle Park by six to hang on and advance to the 3A State Tournament. Tanner Graves had 11 points to lead Shadle Park.

Shadle Park hung on to win 66-65 against Kennewick in a 3A subregional on Friday night. After blitzing the Lions 25-11 in the second quarter, Kennewick stormed back to cut the Highlanders lead to one late in the second quarter. Shadle Park missed the front end of a 1-and-1 and put back on the offensive boards, giving Kennewick another chance to win the game.
