What happened: Andrew Fox struck out nine in a six-inning complete game and the Highlanders (18-3) shut out the Knights (10-12) in a District 8 2A semifinal game at West Valley HS on Saturday. Sterling Lipscomb had a double with an RBI and Conner Moya added two runs for Shadle Park.

What happened: Hunter McQuitty struck out eight and had two RBIs and the Eagles (17-4) beat the visiting Highlanders (17-4) in the District 2A championship game on Saturday. Both teams qualified for regionals. Caleb Gray hit a double with three RBIs for WV.
