For the third time this season, the Panthers got the better of the Rangers in a 64-55 victory, knocking Selkirk out of the District 7 1B tournament. The Rangers showed some extra fight after falling behind early, not wanting to lose a third straight to Cusick, but the Panthers held them off behind 22 points from Alec Bluff. Chad Browneagle had a monster 16 rebounds to go with his 13 points. Shawn Mailly scored 20 for the Rangers.

Nick Cox scored 24 points and Grant Marchant added nine as host Valley Christian cruised past Selkirk in the first round of the District 7 1B playoffs. Valley Christian outscored Selkirk 30-11 in the second half. Valley Christian will travel to Deer Park on Saturday for the next round of districts and face the winner of the Wellpinit/Cusick game that will be played Wednesday.
