Paige Dumars may have nailed six saves for Sandpoint, but her own goal is what gave Kuna their victory in the Idaho High School State Soccer Tournament, by a final of 2-1. Karleigh Belnap brought in 12 saves for Kuna. With this lose, Sandpoint is eliminated from the tournament, and Kuna moves on to the next round through the consolation bracket.

Last years 4A Idaho State girls soccer champions Sandpoint ended its title defense Thursday morning, falling to Century 1-0 in a match decided by penalty kicks, which the Diamondbacks won 3-1. Century moves onto the semifinals against Twin Falls while Sandpoint will play Kuna in the semifinals of the consolation bracket. The Bulldogs upcoming match is scheduled for 11 a.m. tomorrow at Middleton High School in Caldwell.
