Colton pummeled Rosalia 72-40 in the District 9 1B Tournament at Colfax. Dalton Patchen scored 20 points to lead the Wildcats, while Carter Dahmen added 11 more. Craig Nelson scored a game-high 23 for Rosalia, who is eliminated. Colton will next play Garfield-Palouse.

Craig Nelson broke Rosalia's single-game scoring record with 47 points, including 14 in the first quarter and 15 in the fourth, as the Spartans (13-10) eliminated the LaCrosse-Washtucna/Kahlotus Tigercats (8-10) with a 79-63 decision at the District 9 1B tournament at Colfax.
