Josie Walser had 33 assists and 23 digs as Shadle Park qualified for regional and eliminated Rogers by rallying from a 2-0 deficit for a 3-2 win in a District 8 3A tournament opener at Mt. Spokane. Holly Hamblen added 11 kills for the Highlanders. Mikayla Risinger led Rogers with 33 assists.

Rogers rallied to knock off host North Central in five sets on Tuesday. Mikayla Risinger led the Pirates' efforts with 33 digs and three aces, while Kabao Xiong picked up 34 digs. Megan Dean had 27 digs and five blocks for the Indians, while Malia Conant and Keli Orr recorded 16 assists each.
