What happened: Abby Watkins had three hits and five RBIs and the Titans (16-2) used a seven-run fifth inning to beat the Falcons (11-6) in a District 8 3A/2A loser-out game at Merkel Sports Complex on Friday. The district third-place game was rained out and U-Hi qualified for state. Charley Palm had four hits for Ridgeline.

Sara Justice hit a solo home run and scored four times for Wa-Hi. Emma Myers and Samantha Mowrey knocked in three runs apiece for Ridgeline, which plays in an elimination on Friday.
