Easton Amend had two hits including a double and two runs batted in for Ridgeline. Mt. Spokane advances to play Cheney at 4 p.m. in the state play-in game.

What happened: Nate Fitzpatrick pitched six innings, allowing zero earned runs and striking out eight and the top-seeded Falcons (14-7) beat the visiting fifth-seeded Panthers (15-6) in a District 8 3A loser out game on Tuesday. Mikey Macall added two hits and a run batted in for Ridgeline. Xavier Hattenburg had two hits for Mead. Ridgeline advances to play Mt. Spokane in a loser out game on Saturday.
