What happened: Brandi Andrews and Addison Pettit each launched homeruns and visiting Richland defeated University 14-7 in the 4A Greater Spokane League/Mid-Columbia Conference regional third-place game in Walla Walla on Saturday. Richland claims the tourney’s second bid to state while University’s season comes to a close.

What happened: Sierra Apodaca drove in three runs and University defeated visiting Richland 8-5 on Thursday. Alex Surby tallied three hits, two stolen bases and four runs scored. University will play for the District Championship on May 20. Richland will play Chiawana in a loser-out game on May 19.
