Shania Graham finished with 21 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists and 11 steals to help Republic over Mt. Rainier Lutheran 86-37 in the 1B state regional on Saturday. Demi Jo Vaughn amassed 18 points, 16 rebounds and five steals and Carlie Rittell added 22 points and 11 board for Republic. Republic led by just two at the end of the first quarter, but outscored Mt. Rainier Lutheran by 18 points in the second and led comfortably the rest of the way.

Demi Jo Vaughn scored 19 points to go along with 15 rebounds, while Carlie Rittel scored 13 points with 14 rebounds as part of Republic's narrow win over Almira/Coulee-Hartline, 60-55. Lily Beckwith hit a 3-pointer to put Republic up by two with 30 seconds to go, before Rittel stole the ball with four seconds left and made both free throws to seal the win. Republic advances as the district champion with a No. 1 seed in the state regional, while ACH moves on as a No. 2 seed.
