What happened: Campbell Brose went 3 for 4 with a double, triple, three runs and two RBIs and the Panthers (16-2) beat the Lumberjacks (18-2) in a State 3A/2A first-round game at Gateway Sports Complex in Yakima on Friday. Mead advanced to a semifinal. Charlie Stern had four RBIs for the Panthers.
