What happened: Cade VanWormer drove in three runs and visiting Cheney defeated Pullman 8-3 on Tuesday. Julian Chabot and Matt Riggs combined to strikeout seven, allow two earned runs and scatter nine hits in the game. Cheney advanced to play West Valley for the district title game on Tuesday.
