What happened: Jacey Johnson played an all-around great game, appearing in 3 of the 5 stat leaderboards, and Oakesdale defeated Pomeroy to advance to the State tournament. After dropping the first set Oakesdale rallied to take the next 3. What's next: Oakesdale will play in the State tournament as the #1 seed on Friday in Yakima.

What happened: Featuring outside hitter, Kacey Halbert, Pomeroy defeated Colton after 5 sets on Wednesday night. Colton made adjustments from previous meetings with Halbert and Pomeroy and kept the match close the whole night. Sophomore Emily Schultheis had a strong defensive game for Colton with 14 blocks, 8 of which were stuffs. What's next: Pomeroy advances to the District Championship match against Oakesdale on Saturday in Colfax.
