Cierra Jo McKeown again came up big for Touchet in a 62-48 win over Pomeroy at Clarkston in the District 9 1B Tournament. A night after nearly lifting the Indians to an upset of unbeaten Colton, McKeown netted 38 points, as Touchet advanced to the regional round of state. Kacey Halbert scored 23 points as Pomeroy pulled away late to beat Oakesdale 54-39 in a District 9 1B loser out game in Clarkston on Friday. Halbert only made one of five 3-point attempts, but the sophomore made her trips to the free-throw line count, draining 8 of 9 shots from the stripe.
