Emily Jones scored 10 of her 12 points in the second half as the St. John-Endicott Eagles (13-8) rallied past the Pomeroy Pirates 42-35 in a loser-out game of the District 9 1B tournament at Colfax. Pomeroy, which led 22-10 at halftime, shot 11 of 52 from inside the paint. SJE will play another loser-out game at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Colfax against Rosalia.

The Moser sisters combined to score 57 points as Colton rolled past Pomeroy 77-29 in the 1B District 9 Tournament. Jenna Moser hit seven three-pointers as part of her 34-point effort for the Wildcats, while Zoe Moser tallied 23 points. Kacey Halbert led the Pirates in scoring with nine points. Colton will next battle Tekoa-Oakesdale Friday at 6 PM with the District Title on the line. Pomeroy will face St. John-Endicott Tuesday in a loser-out game. Both games will be played at Colfax.
