Pomeroy defeated Garfield-Palouse 56-44 in the District 9 1B Tournament at Colfax. Bryan McGreevy led the Pirates with 15 points while Tyler Thurman scored a game-high 16 for the Vikings. With the win, Pomeroy clinched the top seed to regionals. Gar-Pal will play Colton tomorrow to determine the second seed to regionals.

Riley Bott scored 22 points (including a game-high five three-pointers) to lead Pomeroy to a 53-36 victory over Colton. The Pirates used a strong second quarter to build an insurmountable lead over the Wildcats. Pomeroy was ahead 34-14 at the half. Dalton Patchen and Dillon Frank both scored nine points for Colton.
