Gus Colburn had 16 points and 10 rebounds, Tucker Gust scored 15 and the Kellogg cruised past Parma 60-42 in a 3A State tournament elimination game at Meridian High on Friday. Colburn, who also led the Wildcats with 6 assists, buried a game-best three 3-pointers as Kellogg (20-4) never trailed. The Panthers (11-15) were paced by Tanne Kramer’s 11 points. Kellogg will meet Fruitland on Saturday at 8:15 a.m. at Meridian in the consolation final.

Bonners Ferry saw their season end with a 45-44 loss to Parma Saturday at Grangeville in a 3A State play-in game. The Badgers overturned a 24-19 first-half deficit with a 17-11 third quarter, but the Panthers came out on top in a razor-thin final stanza. Tanner Kramer scored 17 points for Parma, including 13 in the first half. Kaleb Stockton paced BF with 20 points, as he connected on five three-pointers.
